Washington, Nov 23: Pat Robertson is a fundamental Christian. He hosts a religious show called 700 club. He has expressed his shock in the show at the knowledge that 30 percent women watch porn. He was even disgusted that women even became addicted to it.  The Christian leader said 10 years ago people refused to believe that women liked porn. He said the Neilson Net rating came in 2003 and from then on women became addicted to watching porn. Now every one is accepting the fact that women also watch porn and enjoy it, said Robertson.  This turn has naturally disturbed Christians, as they feel it is degradation. They are eager to help women overcome their need for it. It is a socio-fantasy movie directed by Srinivas Reddy on R R Movie Makers banner. Let's see how this small time director handled the big film and Nagarjuna fans. (Mallikarjun)Nagarjuna is a taxi driver fall in love with Maheshwari(Anushka) who is born an auspicious day. Andhakasura (Ravi Shankar) with supernatural powers tries to kill Anushka to become more powerful to gain control over the Panchabhutas . Not knowing all this, Nagarjuna tries to save his lady love with the help of Sambaiah (Prakash Raj) who is Lord Shiva in disguise of a human being. How Mallikarjun saves Maheshwari and the world from the supernatural evil is crux of the story. Performance Nagarjuna who is featuring in different genre chose a socio fantasy film for the first time. He completely did justice to his role. His six pack body is perfectly suited for the role of a savior. Hats off to his dedication. No need to mention about his looks and style. He always Rocks. Anushka is looking beautiful and sizzled in songs. Unfortunately, there are not many scenes for her to showcase her acting talent. Ravi Shankar who is known for his dubbing skills excelled in Villain role. His dialogue delivery and diction suited very well for the role. This film will bring him more and more films in future. Ganesh Venkatraman as Anushka Brother in Law, Prakash Raj as Sambaiah and Nagaiah justified their selection.  Brahmanandam, Raghu Babu, Krishna Bhagawan, M S Narayana and Duvvasi generated few laughs. Charmee sizzled in item song as ‘Sakku Bhai’. Technical Director Srinivas Reddy who directed small budget comedy films so far hit a jackpot when Nagarjuna agreed to act in his direction. Srinivas Reddy selected a wonderful script and showed the world he can do the justice to big films too. However, screenplay and editing should have been better in first half. Second half is excellent with gripping narration and tight screenplay. He should have written a better climax for the movie which is a big letdown. Devi Sri Prasad rocks again. Music and background score is highlight for the movie. Chota K Naidu cinematography is excellent. There was lot hype about the VFX in the movie, but it is not up to the mark. Dialogues are good. Editing should have been better. Plus Points Script, Nagarjuna, Ravi Shankar Performance, Music Minus points Few Illogical scenes, Screen play, weak climax Analysis ‘Damarukam’ is a socio fantasy film about a common man taking on an evil with super natural powers. Director needs to do lot of home work to connect different time periods and convince the audience. Director Srinivas Reddy succeeded to large extent with few hiccups.  There are some illogical scenes hard to understand.  Sambaiah revealing his identity to Brahmanandam, Lord Shiva who comes to earth to protect world from evil goes back to Kailash for a simple reason and Andhakasura marrying Maheshwari forcibly will not serve his purpose, yet he does it.  First half of the movie is little slow with comedy scenes and too many songs. Story picks up towards interval and picks up in second half though in predictable note. But, the climax is very week given the duel between Powerful hero and supernatural powers viln.  Overall, ‘Damarukam’ is definitely one time watch for one and all. The movie would have been even better had the director worked on Nagarjuna heroism, first half, and climax.

"We are releasing on this day because it happens to be Rajinikanth's birthday and 30 years since the character Alex Pandian first appeared in the film "Moondru Mugam," said a statement from the production company.

Bus stop movie review

The film is all about the points of love, infatuation, attraction, flirting etc... and it explains the mindset of the present generation youth, their lifestyle, their emotions and other such scenarios. The differences between the parents' mindset and the children's lifestyle is perfectly shown on the celluloid by the director.

Srinu (Prince) and Sailaja (Sri Divya) are in love with each other. Srinu has a gang of friends and all of them have their own love tracks. Among them Seema (Hasika) is in love with one of the boys. However, it is not really love but she flirts with him for costly gifts. The director chooses to explain how the boys or girls fall in to the trap of the opposite sex not knowing whether it is love or infatuation or attraction or flirting by the others.

At the same time, the director wants to narrate one more point as to how their parents trust their children and how far the children maintain the same trust towards their parents. In this process only the true love stories succeed and reach their goals perfectly and end up in marriage, but the other stories which are filled with infatuation, attraction or flirting end up with either unwanted pregnancies or failed love stories. In this course of action, those who follow the advice of parents and set a proper goal would succeed in reaching them. The film tries to explain all these points.

Performance: It is Sri Divya, who wins the hearts of audiences with her fantastic performance and with her glamour. Prince has also done a good job all through the movie. As most of the artistes in the film are either novices or just one or two films' old, all of them appear a little raw in acting. Saikumar, who has played the role of Panakalu's son, who appears as the Tiffin Centre owner, tries to tickle the funny bones of audiences and he has almost succeeded in his attempt.

Next comes, Rao Ramesh. Being a seasoned artiste, he has done complete justice to his role. Though many people do not like to accept his attitude, the way he accepts the romantic moves of his daughter is hard nut to crack for many audiences. At the same time, the emotional struggles of the parents of Sailaja and Seema are also shown well. Hasika has also brought lot of fun with her performance. DMK Muralikrishna is the other artiste who brought lots of laughs all through the film.

Technical: The cinematographer has used the Canon 5D system and brought an excellent copy of the film. Instead of normal celluloid output, the system is of much higher quality. Moreover, the system gives good scope for a neat editing. JB's music is melodious and it has gelled well with the present day youths' attitude. The dialogues penned for the film is a little crude and does not sound good for the normal and family audiences. But, those who like the adult comedy take them very easily.

Director Maruthi, with his perfect screenplay and direction, has succeeded in his attempt in what he exactly wanted to explain through this film. While watching the movie, the audiences feel that they are also one among them and identify one of the characters with them. Especially, the youngsters would have this feeling.

Remarks: Young adults would enjoy the first half of the film. The second half is a little boring as it is filled with sentiments. Though the entertainment values are good, the raw and adult comedy is a hard nut to crack for the family audiences. Of course, those who have accepted the film Ee Rojullo would also accept Bus Stop, but the film should not be watched by parents and children together as there are many uneasy scenes in the film.
