Hyderabad, Oct 15: The TRS supremo K Chandrasekhara Rao and Telangana Political JAC chief Prof. Kodandaram who were not in talking terms, have buried the hatchet and decided to intensify the 'T' movement under the leadership of the former.
It is the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh who brought them together!
Yes, you heard it right. It is the PM himself who brought them together.
Kodanda who desperately tried to meet KCR after his return from New Delhi and failed as the latter did not give him audience, has started planning protests during the visit of the Prime Minister to participate in the International Biodiversity Conference happening in the city independently.
KCR who witnessed how the JAC chief could organize the recent Hyderabad March even in his absence quite successfully, apparently got worried that Kodanda would organize the protests during the PM’s visit also without his involvement and take a firm grip over the 'T' movement.
Kodanda could already terrorize the government with a simple statement that protests would be organized against the PM. So terrified were the police that they had shut the entire Cyber City area. Schools were asked to close. IT firms which work 24/7 were asked to either shut down on Tuesday or work only for half day. All roads leading to HICC, venue of the conference were shut down. All top 'T' protagonists were being immobilized.
It is in this situation when Kodanda has taken total leadership of the activity, that KCR has suddenly spoken to him over telephone. In this conversation, KCR has reportedly agreed to meet Kodanda and discuss the future course of action,
Now TRS sources say that KCR and Kodanda had patched up and would meet soon to officially chalk out future plans. They said the differences were ironed out and they have decided to take the movement forward, under KCR’s leadership.
Following the telephonic conversation, Kodanda has called on KCR and the two discussed about holding protests during the PM’s visit and intensification of the agitation in the long term.
According to information, KCR suggested to Kodanda to wait till the end of October as he was expecting union cabinet reshuffle by then and a forward movement on the Telangana issue later.
TRS politburo member Vinod Kumar is positive that there would be positive dynamics on 'T' towards October end. He said they would launch a massive agitation later, if there was no forward movement.
